In pursuit of combat power, Steppenwolf engineers have even attempted to redesign their flares. They managed to increase the heating power of the projectiles, and thus the 'Trombone' auxiliary rocket launcher entered service. 'Trombone' fires a burst of three high-precision rockets, which do little damage to enemies, but greatly heat up the parts within the blast radius.

The longer the rockets are in flight, the better their maneuverability gets.
